2019 Boys ENPL Playoffs and Finals
RICHMOND, VA (December 10, 2018) – After the success of the inaugural Elite National Premier League Playoffs (ENPL) in 2018, qualifying Boys ECNL teams will again participate in US Club Soccer’s ENPL Playoffs in 2019. The top teams from the Boys ECNL, based on regular season conference performance, will match up with the top teams from US Club Soccer’s NPLs across the country to crown one national champion in the ENPL. The 2019 ENPL Playoffs will be held June 28 – July 2, 2019 at Mercyhealth Sportscore Two Park in Rockford, Illinois, and the 2019 ENPL National Finals will be held July 11-15 at Dick’s Sporting Goods Park in Commerce City, Colorado.
This year’s ENPL Playoff platform debuts a new structure featuring all qualifying U14 – U18/19 teams in one location, instead of dividing into an “east” and “west” format as in 2018. The new format will enhance the overall event experience and improve college exposure by bringing all teams into one venue. In addition to consolidating in one site, all qualifying teams will now be challenging for the ENPL National Championship, with no lower level championships.
For the U14 – U17 teams, the ENPL Playoffs is the first of a two-stage post-season, with top teams from the Playoffs advancing to the 2019 ENPL Finals: the top four teams from the U14 age group, and the top eight teams from each of the U15, U16 and U17 age groups. For the U18/19 age group, the 2019 ENPL National Playoffs is a single-stage postseason with the national championship awarded in Illinois.
The qualifying teams from each Boys ECNL Conference, at each age group, are listed below:
- U14 Boys ECNL Qualifiers by Conference:
- Midwest, Northeast, Southeast, Southwest, Mid-Atlantic, Texas – 2 teams each
